I've noticed a large number of my female friends are very nearly prejudiced against really handsome men. They assume the men will be stuck up beyond belief, vapid and full of tehmselves without ever stopping to talk to these guys. Having been taught by my mother that male beauty is as rare and precious as the female variety, I go out of my way to talk to the male beauties every chance I get. Guess what? They are still just guys, and tend to be very much like males without their aestetic endowments, so it may just be, boys will be boys. Some, particualarly those who felt themselves to be ugly in childhood, don't believe that they are actually good-looking!
As for Greg Wise, I don't think he's a Ken-doll. The first time I saw him,(sorry, I can't remember the name of the film) he displayed nearly crushing vulnerability, something no Ken has ever manged. He's also still pretty new, after all, Alan Rickman wasn't the man you all know and love until his late thirties.
