] I also saw The Moonstone and it didn't radically alter my opinion. He has been well-cast and is a fine actor, it's just, well, I guess I don't see an "inner light" or something. It's hard to describe. His eyes are dark and lustrous (just the way I like 'em) but the intelligence behind them is lacking, for me.

He doesn't seem to look as well as he speaks (of course he's memorized a script) but the fire just isn't there down below, nor does he inspire such a flame in me.

Oddly enought, I just found the new art on the "Persuasion" board and it reminds of Wise because he can have a fishy face expression (perhaps he's trying to remember his next line and floundering.)
