My own two cents:

I agree with all your comments because the question is not simple. I think all the points are right, thus I do believe that W did regret not having married Ma, Brandon alludes to the fact that W might have done so had it not been for the loss of fortune.

I do not think it morally right/pardonable to impregnate a woman and leave her. However, when you juxtapose Wickham's dilemma and Willoughby's, I find Willoughby's more complex. I also think that love was definitely a factor in this relationship not so in wickham's.

Thus, loss and pain in S&S is definitely more profound. Also, the character of all the other anti-heroes in Austen are not as complex as Willoughby!
