Yes, I agree! the argument is fought on the basis that Ma grew up after her rejection by Willoughby.
Although I quite agree that she would have changed to a degree, the large gap between her personality and brandon's is not sufficiently bridged. Thus, I reject this whole Pairing on the basis that no sufficient ground has been exhibited to forsee the happiness of such a match.
Did Marianne suit a man like brandon, NO!
I mean Jane Eyre was a totally different personality and to me that match is more believable.
