I am very impressed by your analysis, I think/thought so too but am not verbose enough to phrase it well(as you did).
Yes, Marianne's dangerous behaviour is very apparent and threatens societal norms, so seems more extreme.
Darcy is in equal danger but he scores because he is mature, socially acceptable(anything he does goes becuase of who he is) but his deviation from his emotional side was becoming apparent.
People who are apparently 'dangerous' are all over us and thus we notice them but the other is equally true but we seldom see them on 'dangerous' terms.
