She has lost her wild teenage enthusiasm, but that's not necessarily a terrible thing. Everyone grows up eventually; she just got it all at once. She has traded in the stratospheric emotional highs and wracking emotional lows for a quieter, gentler, much more reliable happiness.
I think she and Brandon eventually will become one of those quietly devoted couples no one can imagine apart.
