Marianne is so cold

To me, the absolute worst part in the scene is when Elinor has just given Marianne the tongue-lashing of a lifeime. When Marianne starts to cry, you see Elinor sigh and get up to comfort her...again. I have been rereading the novel and it seems they were trying to portray Austen's comment that even in Elinor's own distress, she was the one who had to comfort others. Forgive me if that semi-quote is way off. My book is not with me.
