Perhaps I am the only one who noticed this, but (in the film) after Marianne has taken her fall, and Willoughby comes to her rescue----did anyone find that scene covertly sexual? The shot they used of Willoughby removing her shoe while Marianne, her clothes soaked and clinging in what I would term a suggestive manner, starts gasping---one presumes with pain, but maybe also possibly because of this great looking guy caressing her foot under the guise of checking for breaks (yeah, right, Willoughby, you never fooled me!)
Then he just lifts her up....and mean, how much more obvious could this be? Yes, he needed to help her....but was all that truly necessary? I think he just wanted an excuse to touch her...after all, he had plenty of experience in that area, as it turned out. Well, just wondering.....no doubt it was all very innocent, and my 20th century perspective only sees it that way.....
