] it's rather sad if you think about it. both are substituting each other for their lost loves. i never really thought about it until now, reading these posts. such a rather depressing thought.
When I watched the film, it all ended on such a romantic note and the jerk Willoughby all sad. I thought all is well with the world.
But, I thought about it after reading a book on the actual quality of love, the book is very spiritual but makes very important points.
More than anything we are so confused about love and passion, with associations largely connected to the body. i then realised how little i knew about the subject and that passion/love were qualities of the spirit. you have to admit that when you see real love matches the regard/admiration for the partner just shines through.
