In response to "Pardon" words, written by Kelley on September 27, 1997 at 02:54:04

] ] What are the words to "Pardon Goddess of the Night"? My friend and I have been trying to discern them. If anyone has seen them in the book I would be much obliged, as it's become one of those things...
] ] Lizzie

]

] Here you go:

] Pardon, goddess of the night,
] Those that slew thy virgin knight,
] For the which with songs of woe
] Round about her tomb they go.
] Midnight, assist our moan,
] Help us to sigh and groan,
] Heavily, heavily.

] (Graves yawn, and yield your dead
] Till death be uttered,
] Heavily, heavily.)

] Hope that's helpful. The part in the parenthesis appears in the actual play, though it is not in Doyle's song (Branagh includes it in his screenplay, however).
