In response to Patrick Doyle in MAAN, written by LauraN on September 19, 1997 at 18:20:23

] Yes, Patrick Doyle did have a part in Much Ado About Nothing, for he played Balthasar who sings "Sigh No More, Ladies" and "Pardon Goddess of the Night." I absolutely love that movie and the sound track (and I just found the "Making of" book last week - I really am excited!!!)!

I think KB usually gives him a role in his films. Didn't you love his Scottish accent ("And an ill singer, my lord."-that burr!)? In "Dead Again," he was a policeman in the modern part and a musician in the past section. I'm sure he was in some of the other films, too, but I can't think of them right now.

LauraN, do you mean that book of the screenplay when you said the "Making of" book? Or is there one I don't have? =)
