Lots of coincidences in Austen works.

I don't know that S&S is any more rife with coincidences than other JA novels though. P&P is loaded with them, as is Persuasion. What do you all think of JA's coincidences
I have noticed that there are many coincidences in most JA novels. P&P and S&S have the most, but all of her works seem to have at least one or two convinent coincidences to make the story work better.
It seems strange that, with all these coincidences, the parties involved were so ignorant of these situations.
