Mr. Palmer a porcupine?

Has anyone else noticed in the scene when the Misses Dashwoods and Lucy are invited to London that the out-of-sorts Mr. Palmer is reading from a paper entitled "The Porcupine"? Was this on purpose? I found it rather humerous.
