Interesting connections, Arnessa. I agree we are shaped a great deal by our environment. My father was of the English tradition of reserve, not showing emotion, and hence I am partly too. But I think there must be a balance. Too much suppression is surely unhealthy, as is way too much show? And I do think we have natural tendencies one way or another, too, given with birth.
