The Judas Kiss and accents

] Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson have made a film where they play a cop and an FBI agent (I am not sure which is which).
] Both characters are from New Orleans. I understand they do pritty good at the "Big Easy" accents!

The film is called The Judas Kiss. ET is the FBI agent ( I think) and AR is the detective. I saw a little clip of some of this on an entertainment news show of some type, and their accents were very convincing, but I still find it jarring to hear him, especially, without the lovely British accent so many of us adore. I have also heard Emma do the American accent on that episode of "Ellen" in which she guest starred and in Dead Again Her accent is quite flawless. Incidentally, Kenneth Branagh does a pretty flawless American accent too.
