Same for me! I also found much to like in the BBC version---for one, Lady Middleton is allowed to exist. Also, I thought the guy playing Sir John Middleton was very good--and more age appropriate than the S&S2 Sir John (though I thought him very good, too and he fit in well with the actress who played Mrs. Jennings, they made a very complimentary pair)

I have to confess, although I thought that Sir John and Lady M were good, as well as Lucy Steele....I could hardly watch parts of it (I even fast-forwarded!). What were thinking putting E & M on that see-saw...teeter-totter thing??. Also the video tape look, as opposed to the film look was annoying (not to mention some of the sets). BUT I may be persuaded to appreciate it with the guidance of the VV contributors.
