] I cannot stand that woman! having said that though, she is more often met with than any of the other women.
She's not that bad. Look at the names that JA uses in S&S: Dashwood (a perfectly lovely last name), Ferrars (found out pronounciation when watching video) Middleton, Jennings... All of a sudden we have this Lucy Steele. Sounds very american to me. In the movie she even looked the part; out of the ordinaire. We have this continuity in characters including their surnames when all of a sudden we have a Lucy Steele who acts different, looks different and who dares to have loved Edward! Fortunately she falls in love with Robert. Which if you saw the movie is out of character, as well. All in all the actors in the movie very aptly portrayed the characters in the book. Comprendez?
