I read about half of Pemberley, a sequel to P&P, and gave up in disgust. The style was so unlike Austen and so simplistic, and the main conflict in the book seemed to be that Lizzy wanted to have a child but couldn't. She went on and on and on about this. I also have An Unequal Marriage which is another sequel to P&P, but many years later. I didn't get through this one either.
