In response to Elinor always made me angry, written by Emmy on March 19, 1998 at 00:05:39

Back to the Sense and Sensibility board ] She kept her feeling all shut up onside her, and that bugged me, but when I think about it, I do the same thing as far as relationships go. It's funny how we sometimes don't really notice our own faults until we see them in other people (even if they are fictional) :-)

] Bonny: I got your e-mail, and I sent one back. I'm still trying to find a copy of the book, but non of the local stores have it in stock. It sounds to me like it is just the thing for my "inner Marianne" :-p Hope to hear from you soon.

I know she kept her feelings shut up, and it's sort of annoying in contrast to Marianne"s honesty, but I think I'm more Elinor-than-Elinor in this respect, and that in her case it was partly to do with situation, that if not 4 Lucy Steele and giving her word she would maybe have told Marianne at least.

I now know you got my e-mail, having recieved yours, Sorry! ;-)
