Lucy in the movie

I also thought that Lucy was not cold and calculating, or haughty, in S&S2. Whenever I watch the movie, I always have the impression that Lucy sees Elinor as a sister with whom she can talk about anything. She is just too blind and oblivious to see any pain that she is causing Elinor, and Elinor is good at hiding her pain.
Since I haven't read the book for almost two years, and haven't had time to reread it, I don't remember what Lucy was like in the book.
