Back to the Sense and Sensibility board Yes, I'm the youngest of 5! I've got one sister who's nearly two years older. The age gap between me and my eldest brother is 9 years. I don't think I've been spoiled by my parents, I think we've all been treated in the same way. But I do recognise myself as Margaret. Especially when her elder sisters are allowed to things for which she is too young, like going to London. I remember that I've often been complaining, saying things like "oh, please, let me come too, I'm a big girl, I'm nearly 12!!", but it never worked. It took a long time until they would take things I said seriously. I will always remain the youngest, so they'll always feel that I can never be as wise as my elder brothers or sister.
As for Elinor and Marianne, I have to agree with you. I do feel more with Elinor than I do with Marianne, although I'm the youngest of the two sisters.
