Scene 147: Missing Brandon running up the hill

Of all the scenes cut from the film, the omission of this one was the most jarring for me. When Mrs. Palmer handed Elinor a cup of tea followed by Mr. Palmer handing her a cup of tea, I was sure the film had broken and the projectionist spliced it together leaving out something. Then I read the screenplay and found what was missing. I can't help thinking what was shot must have been unusable for some reason. It's hard to believe this little scene would be cut for time.
