"Mrs. Ferrars was a woman of few words, for, unlike people in general, she proportioned them to the number of her ideas." shhhhhhiiiZZZAAAH! This one cuts society off at the knees, and skewers Mrs. Ferrars with a single sword thrust.
Also her description of Robert: "...a person and face of strong, natural sterling insignificance, though adorned in the first style of fashion."
