Who's the worse villain, Wickham or Willoughby?

I'm posting a copy of this message at the P&P board, and I'm curious to see what responses I get.

In the latest chapter of the fanfic I'm writing, I described Wickham as not entirely a hardened rogue because he didn't ditch Lydia when he had the chance. Several people respectfully disagreed with me, saying that Wickham was (as he is described in the book) the worst of scoundrels.

IMHO, Wickham isn't such a bad guy, because he does marry Lydia in the end. Willoughby, on the other hand, callously deserts Eliza Williams, and refuses to marry her or even consider that he is the father of her child.

Other opinions?
