counting sheep

] Were there sheep in every outdoor scene? That wasn't something I noticed when watching the film..

You know I never noticed the sheep either before I had read ET's diaries...but then after reading ti I see them everywhere...remember the part where Edward comes galloping in on his horse? And he has to go thru the sheep? And when he and Elinor are out riding there are sheep in the background...they appear in quite a few other scenes as well. =)
