In response to accupatae...( a cup of tea), written by KAREN L on December 29, 1997 at 20:58:41

I adore the shot of Elinor (Emma Thompson) sitting in the stairway, drinking her tea. It is viewed from above, and reminds me very much of a watercolour done by Jane Austen's sister Cassandra, I believe, viewed at an angle from behind and a little above, of Jane Austen sitting on the grass, wearing bonnet (with strings untied) and coat.

] And could the tea be considered sense?...Tea comes with all sorts of etiquette and behavior, at least teatime, in my American mind...or do I go too far...as I usually do when desperate...-KAREN L.........Stop me if I veer off the track completely...
