I don't know whether you've read the poem or ancient Scottish folk story of Tam Lin
Queen Mab (Queen of the Faeries) is a vicious, strong
character that delights in capturing mortals for 7 years
to take the the 'Other World'
Tam Lin is one of these mortals and only his love Janet can save him from an uncertain fate
Mab delights in breaking up love or making a romance have a
shocking or cruel end
