Good point- Elinor has been the sensible older sister for so long...And Marianne is the stereotypical younger one, relying on Elinor to be sensible for her. In some ways, I'm an Elinor to my little sister's Marianne- she was allowed to be a bit more rebellious, and to follow her heart more, because I had done my best to live up to the hopes and expectations of my parents as the eldest child.
