I have stumbled across a book that may be useful to those writing Fanfic or doing research about 19th century customs: entitled "The Model Wife: Nineteenth Century Style" by Rona Randall. Especially interesting is the chapter entitled "The Fashion Scene" which describes the Regency era of clothing style. This book covers all of the 19th Century, so much of it is concerned with Victorian world, but it does include insights into the Regency period.
