P&P0....Laurence Olivier as Darcy, Greer Garson as Lizzy, made about 55.B.C. Not very accurate historically, not very accurate Austenarily, but still fun.
P&P1....David Rintoul as Darcy, Elizabeth Garvie as Lizzy.Made by BBC many moons ago.
P&P2....The one we all know and love.
Emma1...Doran Goodwin as Emmma, made by BBC many moons ago.
Emma2...Gwyneth and Jeremy's turn.
Emma3... Kate Beckinsale as Emma, Mark Strong as Mr Knightly,and many other interesting actors in supporting roles. Made by the same production team as P&P2(Yesss!)
All these movies are available as videos (for sale or rent) except perhaps for the first Emma.
I live in a tiny town too- there are more moose than humans in my woods. But my Librarian is a lovely woman who understands me!Good luck hunting these out!
