] ummm, Emma 1,2,3?
] p&p2?
] The recent Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow is the only Emma
] I know of...and the Colin Firth (Drool, sorry Caro) P&P
] I live in a small town, could someone tell me a little about the other productions? I would love to find them and view them.

Emma 2 is the one with GP; Emma 3 is the A&E version; P&P1 is the first A&E and/or BBC version (done in the 70s); P&P2 is the second A&E/BBC version--the CF version; (P&P0 was done in 1940--faint resemblance to the book); Emma 1 was also done in the 70s, I think. There are also apparently a few other P&P movies, and there are two S&S movies, and two Persuasions, although it seems that most of us here don't think much about the first versions (S&S--1980?, P--1970s), so the numbers are optional in those cases.

Check the FAQs for accurate dates, since I'm not quite sure on some of them. The FAQlist also has info on where you can order some of the versions, I think....
