] In the thread about Covent Garden, I misspelled Covent as Convent and I pronounce it that way too. I did the same thing with Sanditon pronouncing and spelling it as "Sandition". A friend of mine in the JA society said she did the same thing until she attended a meeting of the state society. Has anyone else done this or do I have a touch of dyslexia?

Until I read this post, I, too, have always seen Sanditon with the additional "i" !! I am glad that I have never had a need to vocalise the title; especially to someone who knows the difference. I would have pronounced it san-DISH-un.

So, how is it pronounced, anyway??
