] Depending on whom you talk to, the consensus spans from "Mr. Darcy" to "Mr. Sexy-Butt". ;-) So, there's a wide range. I think the general thing was the more private the situation, the more private the name. "Mr. Darcy" in formal settings--when there were others around; "Darcy" when there were sisters and other close family/friends; and some term of endearment (e.g. Dear or Darling) when it was just the two of them, or perhaps his Christian name, or some derivative--Billy Bob. :-D
