Now you mention it, I can't recall seeing baldies in paintings or drawings either. Maybe they had some natural Rogain in their diets somehow -- little bits of inhaled lavender or something

But I must say that My Charlie the Good Sort, Maria's partner in the maggot at Netherfield in P&P2 didn't seem all that out of place. By now I quite despair of the thought of P&P2 without his nice head.
