To L and T indexAt this period, as the waist went up and the skirt went straight, the thin look was definately in. I can't give you a weight, of course, because weight is relative to size. Small and petite was fashionable (especially hands and feet) but height went up and down according to the year. Like the length of hair, one year it was fashionable to be short, the other year it was fashionable to be tall. In the period before it was desireable to be plump, as was the Victorian period proceeding, relatively plump that is. And then after the Victorian era it was once more fashionable to be thin, though this time, as thin and bony as a boy!
