sort of like your "century of progress" for female fashion? I've always had a hard time picturing Darcy in those britches that end below the knee with those stockings and slippers. I don't think they ever put Colin Firth in that sort of get up during P&P - seems like he always either had boots or slacks but, I'm not positive.
