This party game was very popular among refined ladies and gentlemen of the Regency, and is enjoying a mass resurgance in recent years. Two bound friends attempt to pass a hazelnut back and forth between their mouths as many times as possible, in a timed interval. One person (at left in picture) is the designated play-by-play announcer. ("excellent use of tongue by Mr. Wiley!")
