An English version is known as "Waly waly". Here are a couple more verses (from memory)
I put my hand into one soft bush
Thinking the sweetest flower to find
I pricked my finger to the bone
And left the sweetest flower behind.I leaned my back against an oak
Thinking that he was a trusty tree
But first he bended and then he broke
Just as my false love did to me.
