New stuff, interesting updates and odds and ends in Pemberley

To L and T indexDid you know we now have an Announcements Board in Pemeberley? It'll cover all the new and currents things in one go, like group reads, policy changes, etc.

We are about to start a group read of "Tess of the D'Urbervilles" in the Library in preparation for the A&E presentation, which will be Virtviewed on the Virtview Board (where else?)

Janet Aylmer, the author of "Darcy's Story", a published book telling the story of P&P from Darcy's point of view, will be our guest in the Chat Room soon. Anyone can post a question, or come and meet her.

One very generous Pemberley lady is offering several really good books as rewards for donations to Pemberley. More details can be found in Jane's post in the Libray or on the new Notice Board.

The newest balance sheet for Pemberley is now available.

Also, some of you may not be aware that we have an HTML Practice Board here at Pemberley. If you'd like to try doing things like writing in bold characters , italicising your words, learning how to space your words to make a

blockquote, stand-out passsage, whatever,

then this is the place to try it out. There's instructions in there, or if you are really timid, you can e-mail me. Just remember, it's supposed to be for making messes (and all of us make mistakes, includiing me)

Sometimes big ones!

You can do links, colours and other stuff there, too

To find all these things, click on the "Home' or the "Q" at the top or bottom of this message.
