] The Corithian, or The wicked Uncle, I'd love to see the carriage!!

Oh, yes! Both are great! (Though I read the Wicked Uncle after P&P and found many similarities) but the carriage would be afine thing to see.

] ] Caroline, I checked out one her books called Charity or Charity Girl and I must confess, I didn't like it much but I am not ready to give up on dear Miss Heyer, yet. What are some of her best books?

but I have enjoyed the few I've read. The Corintihan, The Convient Marriage (not regency) is good. The Wicked Uncle, and The Reluctant Widow are also good.

The Reluctant Widow was made into a movie in the '50's,according to the Imdb.

Lesley, you might want to try Arabella (one of my personal favorites.)

Also, The Black Moth, These Old Shades, The Devil's Cub, Regency Buck, and An Infamous Army have inter-related characters.

Note: An Infamous Army deals with the battle of Waterloo, and looks at the role British woman, who were trapped in Brussels, took during the battle. It is really slow going at first, but stick with it!
