Hmmm,
This brings up something I've been curious about for a while. Maybe someone has some answers.
So, in London, was it common for people to dine out (as couples), or was it common only for men in clubs? I'm not talking about dining out at a dinner engagement at friends, but out, like we do now?
If they did, would they go to hotels, Inns? Or where?
