If I have done this right, you should be able to see a lady from the H.C.'s Pics button at the top of this board. She should be labelled "Lady in the fourth position of Dancing"
The "fourth position" got me thinking. She's supposed to be a country dancer, but the only "fourth position" I know of is from ballet.Do you reckon she is a stage dancer? (or even an infamous Opera Dancer?)Does anyone know anything about entertainment on the stage in those days? If she's a country dancer, then just how many positions are there in country dancing?
