Thanks for the examples. I just wanted to make sure that my plot for my novel-in-progress wasn't totally unrealistic. It takes place in the late 1940's, and it's about a girl from Massachusetts vacationing in England, and she just happened to meet a tormented aristocrat. I have his title being a Lord and I was just wondering if it is accurate, because I know the value of the British aristocracy was beginning to crumble. Do any of you know a website, where I could find out when tenants were eliminated, or have they been?
