My initial comment was just a passing idea, but it would be wonderful.
I have to admit, when it comes to organizing, I am afraid I have no knack for it. Also, Northwest Florida might not be a central location for everyone to meet. But, if this is the only option, I am sure it could be arranged somehow. It might help if i knew you all are. Nothing specific...just a general idea of where everyone is from. I'll be thinking about it!

] Your initial comment two days ago resulted in quite a few responses, and the usual argument between living during the Regency or in today's world. Are you going to try to organize a ball? I'm still game, and I like the suggestion of lessons early in the day, or in the first part of the ball, and then the dancing afterwards.
] I'm sure that not everyone was a perfect dancer. We only see perfect in the well-rehearsed movies. But do you remember the fun all the dancers were having at the Musgrove home after dinner in the Persuasion movie? They were talking each other through the steps. I don't expect that any of the single Pemberlians would attend your ball with the hopes of catching a husband (although what a lovely consequence if it did happen). We would just be having fun.
