If we sound a bit negative, Mist, please don't hold it against us.Perhaps you are more serious about this project than appears on a casual reading of your first post. And please forgive our ultra-sensible, ultra-realistic Kate, who has very good reason to be thinking right now about the implications of inviting people from literally all over the world to dance with you!
If you seriously want to make this a project, you could suggest it on the Meetings Board. We do get together for Tea (English or otherwise) and for other things, some of us have been to Balls together (ask Kali and Arnessa!)and we often, individually,take part in JASNA meetings, balls, re-enactment events etc.
