In response to Dance lessons?, written by Tenby on July 29, 1998 at 11:25:25

To L and T indexTenby,
I really am at a loss here.
The only thing I can think of would be to watch all of the Jane Austen film adaptations for dancing (There is a detailed but difficult looking one in Emma) and then Just Do It!
I'll think some more on this.
Maybe English Tea would be better!:)

] Mist, this sounds like such a wondderful, fun idea. I think I could even get my husband to come -- if it were just an evening -- he couldn't handle a whole weekend, I don't think!

] But if such an event did transpire and however many Pemberlians could afford to make the trip to be there, how many would know much about English country dancing and any Regency dancing? Would everyone arrive unable to do what we had gathered to do? Would there be some way around this, do you think? I live in a pretty metropolitan area, but to my knowledge there aren't any readily-available Regency dance lessons here. What could be done?
