It's imparting the information to the reader in a way which is neither teachy nor obviously "look at me--I really know this stuff!" that is hard (-; Of course, you can take the Balzacian approach of building your reader's vocabulary by describing as many objects as possible (-: Great, if you're learning French. . . .
