might be due to a few previous posts revolving around Georgette Heyer, who, being 'the trendsetter', is in another catagory than other Regency writers. (she being dead helps alot too!) that was rather crass wasn't it?! :/
I originated the latter post and I think even I was pushing it! But I think it was the 'historical context which made it vaguelly acceptable. If you had been around for a while, you would have noted the difference, but, being a newbie to this particular board (isn't that how we phrase it?), I can see where you might be confused!
