"Jane Austen" by Marfhanita Laski

Ok, despite recent instructions to post information about books in the Library, I have been informed that the following post belongs on THIS board...
I hope I'm not going over something that has already been covered, but I just bought and read a small book called "Jane Austen" by Marghanita Laski (yes, that's really how her name is spelled). ISBN 0-500-26015-X
It's a very quick read, and is lavishly illustrated with pictures of JA's family, friends, homes, places she visited, and prominent people of her era. There is also a picture of Godmersham Park, an estate her brother Edward inherited, and I wonder if it might have been her inspiration for Pemberley.... it's not as grand, but the situation of the road, hill, and stream seem a bit more consistent with the book....
I recommend it to get a quick idea of JA's life and times.
