In response to Impolite Conversation: Need Regency "guy talk" info, written by Genette on July 05, 1998 at 09:59:57

To L and T index
] I don't wish for it to be TOO impolite, but all I know of descriptions of appearance is "looking well." ...
] In a nutshell, how would a guy in Regency times say that a girl looks "hot" (or "built" or "is loose" or the like)?

] Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Since you said 'any help' ...

This should be very interesting Genette!
Are we on the right board? Lou seemed very 'well furnished' ;-) !!
How about She appears to be :
then chose from the following 'nicely rounded ... 'easy to get along with'... 'Not too hard to persuade' ... 'healthy enough'... 'soft and pleasant to the touch' 'bent on solitary walks' (oh my, that's our Lizzy!!:O) 'a benevolent lady' ... 'such a good sport'(??)
I think ambiguity works fine, don't you?
Looking forward to your story! And it was nice to meet you in reality! :)
Though whether this is regency or not ?? Boys will be boys, always were ... that's what I think.
